Teodora Savic Popovic is not an average Data & Analytics Engineer at Qinshift. As a data engineer in telecom, she designs, builds, and maintains systems that handle large volumes of data. She focuses on creating efficient data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and enabling access to critical information for analytics and decision-making. Her work often supports performance optimization,

customer insights, and operational efficiency. When she's not crunching numbers and analyzing data, she's navigating the rugged terrain of mountain biking, specifically in the XCO discipline. Teodora is a proud member of the Serbia Representative Team and recently competed in the European Championship, marking her third time representing her country.

A Race to Remember

The journey to this championship wasn't easy. Two years ago, Teodora faced a significant setback—a leg injury that sidelined her and required extensive rest. Despite this, she was called upon once again to represent Serbia, even though her condition was less than ideal due to the previous injury.

The race itself was a test of endurance and mental toughness. The conditions were far from perfect—muddy trails, slippery paths, and less-than-ideal weather. Teodora recalls the challenge vividly: "Once you start, you can’t stop; you have to keep pushing forward." While some competitors chose to quit, Teodora’s determination kept her going.

Just as she meticulously analyzed the race terrain before competing—walking the path to understand what to expect—she approaches data with the same thoroughness. "You need to know when to push and when to hold back," she says, drawing a parallel between finding secure solutions at work and when navigating the challenging mountain paths.
