We are looking for a Software Architect to join the Engineering team. In this role, you will deliver advanced technology solutions to support product roadmaps and customer requirements. You will own the software architecture design, ensuring high-quality standards, and play a key role in guiding the technical delivery of our software engineering teams.

This is the team

You will become a vital member of a cross-functional engineering team led by the Head of Engineering. The team is composed of Lead Engineers and software developers across various locations. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening the technology landscape of our global initiatives, focusing on architecture, code quality, reusability, and innovation.

This is you

• Hands-on commercial experience with a wide range of AWS services;
• Strong understanding of a JVM language;
• Solid background in designing, building, and deploying cloud-native applications;
• Good knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous processing;
• Experience working with REST APIs;
• Comfortable working in high-autonomy environments with a proactive approach;
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with data pipelines and event-driven architectures;
• Exposure to microservices and containerization (e.g., Docker);
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

This is your role

• Design and validate software architecture with the Head of Engineering;
• Guide and mentor development teams across the product lifecycle;
• Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes when necessary;
• Promote reusability, innovation, and tooling optimization;
• Ensure architecture addresses functional, non-functional, and security needs;
• Continuously improve development pipelines and deployment practices;
• Participate in project estimates and backlog management.
