In Córdoba-Argentina within the fintech industry, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team.
This is you
- Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration, preferably with SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL.
- A degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field will be considered, although this is not exclusive.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiar with SQL language.
- Knowledge of database maintenance and optimization.
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to work under pressure and work with minimal supervision
Nice-to-have skills:
- Knowledge of workload optimization.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Oracle DBA, or similar.
- Hybrid work: 50% on-site - 50% remote.
This is your role
- Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to minimize downtime.
- Perform periodic maintenance tasks, such as index rebuilds and query optimization.
- Identify and resolve performance issues and bottlenecks.
- Implement and maintain security strategies to protect data from internal and external threats.
- Work as a team with developers, QA, and infrastructure staff.
