In Sofia, Bulgaria, we are looking for a Mobile Application Developer (Android) to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performing, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications.

In your role, you'll become a vital member of a team of skilled professionals focused on developing secure, high-performance Android applications. The team collaborates closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and QA engineers to ensure seamless application functionality and user experience.

This is you

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Android mobile application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Java, REST APIs, Firebase, Android SDK, Git, and code review practices.
  • Familiarity with Android platform-specific design standards, performance optimization techniques, and mobile security best practices.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve front-end issues effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience in mobile banking applications or fintech solutions.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile development.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

This is your role

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive and high-quality Android applications.
  • Implement UI/UX designs, ensuring an engaging and seamless user experience.
  • Integrate applications with back-end APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data handling.
  • Perform code reviews and uphold high-quality coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance across different devices and screen sizes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Android-specific issues to enhance stability and efficiency.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, QA, and Back-End Developers to introduce and refine features.
