This is the job

We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer with expertise in Django and MySQL to join a team working with a leading Argentine food products company. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing solutions for a global consumer base.

This is you

  • 5+ years of experience with Python programming, including extensive knowledge of Django;
  • Deep understanding of MySQL;
  • Hands-on experience with React framework;
  • Familiarity with web architecture, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines;
  • Experience with building microservices and integrating secure APIs;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead or mentor junior developers;
  • Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and documentation.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Familiarity with AWS.

This is your role

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex Python applications, primarily using Django;
  • Manage and optimize MySQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval;
  • Ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend components;
  • Optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and performance;
  • Manage infrastructure setup and configuration for optimal performance;
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards;
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and fix problems efficiently;
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
