In Prague within the banking industry, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team.

You will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance of database systems. As a Senior Database Administrator, you play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of banking databases.

This is you

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL database management system
• Strong expertise in database design, performance tuning, and optimization
• Experience with data security and compliance
• Proficient in SQL, Python or Shell
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Czech or Slovak language is required
• English is required for the technical documentation

This is your role

• Conduct regular performance monitoring and tuning of databases to ensure optimal efficiency
• Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard sensitive data
• Develop and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies to protect against data loss and minimize downtime
