In the role of Application Administrator, you will be involved in the administration of applications in the banking environment. If you have knowledge of these key technologies like Linux, OpenShift, PostgreSQL, Apache then don't hesitate to get in touch.

This is you

• Proven experience as an Application Administrator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of system and application management, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Linux) and databases (PostgreSQL) and Apache.
• Experience with OpenShift is a must, understanding of JAVA/.NET application administration is a plus.
• You have an active knowledge of version control systems and workflows - GIT, CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience with application monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Understanding of IT security best practices and application compliance.
• We expect teamwork, analytical and communication skills, independence, diligence with a proactive approach.
• Excellent knowledge of Czech or Slovak and active knowledge of English.

This is your role

• Application installation and configuration in GitLab, OpenShift, on Linux machines.
• Deployment via CI-CD pipeline.
• Ensuring application functionality, including regular checks and performance optimization - horizontal scaling at OpenShift level.
• Resolving issues arising on test and production environments.
• Monitoring application performance using monitoring tools - application monitoring, API monitoring, synthetic and infrastructure monitoring. Identifying potential problems such as delays or outages.
• Producing reports and analysis on application performance.
• Ensuring application security, implementing security measures to protect applications from threats such as attacks or misuse.
• Managing access rights and user roles in the application.
• Working closely with other members of the IT team such as infrastructure administrators, network specialists and security analysts to ensure smooth application uptime.
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation of applications in Confluence, including installation and configuration procedures and technical specifications.
