We are searching for an experienced IT System and network engineer who is specialized in Cisco Technologies. Your main focus is system engineering and carrying out security measures to protect the organization's computer networks and systems as well as administration of the server infrastructure including design, installation, configuration, upgrading and maintenance of servers, systems and IT Technologies. If this resonates with you and you're interested in IT System and Network Engineer position we would be delighted to talk to you.

This is the job

You will participate in developing and maintaining IT security and network infrastructure, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of firewalls, email security, endpoint security, DNS security, MFA, and security monitoring systems. Additionally, you will design, install, upgrade, and maintain servers and IT systems, recommend security enhancements and purchases, and collaborate with the global IT Network team on network and information security procedures.

This is you

• You've been trained in Cisco security and enterprise technologies, so you have a deep understanding of networks, major operating systems and network protocols
• Your experience extends to working seamlessly within global team structures, and you bring a solid background in managing storage, network, and server infrastructure

• You possess a high level of expertise in virtualization, storage, network and server infrastructure

This is your role

• You will be responsible for engineering, implementing, and monitoring security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and information
• You will identify and define security and network requirements, design computer security architecture, and develop detailed cybersecurity designs
• You will configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices, develop technical solutions and new tools to mitigate vulnerabilities, and automate repeatable tasks
• You'll ensure the company is promptly informed about security incidents and will mentor younger colleagues
• You'll handle the installation, configuration, maintenance, and modification of network security for WAN and LAN, improving network performance and communication (e.g., VPN access) while implementing network technologies
• You'll design and install LANs, WANs, internet, and intranet systems, and will mentor less experienced colleagues
• Additionally, you will be responsible for administering the server infrastructure, including designing, installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining servers, systems, and IT technologies
• You'll plan for and respond to IT service outages and other infrastructure issues, ensuring servers are properly backed up
