Required Skills

• Administration of any Atlassian Tool (JIRA and Confluence preferred) 
• Understanding of JIRA and Confluence administration such as  workflow design, permission and notification schemes, issue types, screens schemes, custom filters. 
• Customizing JIRA projects and workflows and Confluence spaces and permissions. 
• Evaluating, testing and installing Atlassian and 3rd party plugins and identifying business and licensing needs. 
• Configuring Scrum and Kanban agile boards in JIRA. 
• Configuring and troubleshooting Application Links between Atlassian applications. 
• Managing and customizing Jira ServiceDesk  
• Familiarity with database and networking concepts relating to JIRA and Confluence installations for troubleshooting. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Nice-to-have skills:

• Understanding of Atlassian best practices.
• LDAP and Single Sign-on (SSO) integration experience.
• Skilled with Unix / Linux command line.
• Any Atlassian certification is a plus
• Understanding of CI/CD
• Upgrading and migrating Atlassian applications.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle and software development as well as Agile development concepts.

This is your role

• Day-to-day management and administration of JIRA including workflows, user accounts, custom fields, dashboards, reports, security schemas, issue schemas, project creation, etc
• Develop metrics, dashboards and advanced filters in JIRA to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational metrics and status reports
• Provide end user coaching, training and support.
• Triage and prioritize all Atlassian related service requests and escalations to third party support vendors
• Installation and upgrade of Atlassian tools
• Configure, maintain, support and troubleshoot Atlassian Tools
